2005 Petit Sirah
With only around 3,200 acres of Petit Sirah grown in California, we were fortunate enough to find a quality vineyard in the Los Olivos area of Santa Barbara County. Our 2005 Petit Sirah exhibits characteristics true of this varietal with a deep color, intense tannin, and a bit peppery. It’s inky and jammy tones fill the mouth with ripe fruit and berries. The voluptuous finish lingers with tasty oak and lush fruit. The firm tannins make this a wine that can develop for years to come, but you won’t want to wait that long to enjoy it!
Barrel aged 21 months in American Oak. pH 3.72, alc 13.2%, 14 cases produced.
Suggested food pairings: This wine tends to go with stronger meats – Beef; Lamb; Game; Spicy Sauces; Cheese, Mexican foods.
