2005 Mourvedre
This 2005 Mourvedre comes from a distinguished vineyard located in the Sierra Foothills. Not a well known varietal, there are only around 8 square kilometers of Mourvedre grown in California. You’ll find that our 2005 Mourvedre has a wild, gamey or earthy flavor, with pepper and soft red fruit flavors. It is about as inky as you can get, is high in tannin and alcohol and a favorite of both the winemaker and his assistants.
