Our 2005 Tempranilo comes from a high inland valley in Santa Barbara County. Grown at an elevation of almost 3,000 feet it exhibits a cornucopia of fruit with a ruby red color. It is spicy and complex with aromas and flavors of berries, plum, tobacco, vanilla, leather and herb. You’ll find this Tempranillo an outstanding bargain and wonderful as an every day wine.

Barrel aged 23 months in American Oak. pH 3.59, alc 13.6%, 89 cases produced.

Suggested food pairings: Beef, esp. braised or stewed; Duck; Game and game birds, esp. served with fruit; Lamb, esp. chops and/or grilled; poultry, esp. roasted.
