Our Wines
Starting with the foundation of premium fruits, winemaker George Gilpatrick adds high-quality American & French oak along with meticulous winemaking to create two exceptional series of Rancho Ventavo Cellars wine.
Cream Label Series
Our Cream Label Series wines each bear the characteristics of the terroir from our hand selected vineyards. These wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Tempranillo and Zinfandel. These wines may be enjoyed upon release or cellared and aged.
Black Label Series
Our Black Label Series is inspired by the unique complexities that come from an array of small lot, unusual varietal wines. Each wine reveals layers of flavors and subtleties that come only with skilled winemaking and attention to detail. The varietals in this series include Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, Mourvedre, Pinot Noir and our special Majecc.
Black Label Series
 | Exhibits a peppery perfume with additional aromas of tobacco, raspberry, cassis and even violets with a bright pale red color. |
| This wine has lovely aromas of ripe plums and blackberries, with hints of coffee and cinnamon in the background. Soft tannins provide a long, velvety finish. |

| From Amador County, Shenadoah Valley, this Late Harvest Zinfandel is a wonderful dessert wine, similiar to a light port. A wonderful after dinner treat or while reading a book. Share with friends when they visit and better yet this dessert wine would be a perfect companion in the spa/hot tub or with a cigar.
